North Wall in Chancel
In a vault in the churchyard near the end of this chancel lie the remains
of
Robert Bourne of Shrawley court in this parish Gentleman
Who died December 1st 1817 in the 83rd year of his age
of
Sarah wife of the above Robert Bourne
Who died March 7th 1823 in the 89th year of her age
She was the only child of Thomas Harris of Hartlebury in this county Gentleman
and of Sarah his wife who was of the family of the Harpers of Norchard in that parish
of
The Revd. Jason Bourne B.A. fifth son of the above Robert and Sarah Bourne
formerly of Merton College Oxford minor canon of Worcester Cathedral
He died July 28th 1799 in the 28th year of his age
of
The Revd. George Bourne M.A. sixth son of the above Robert and Sarah Bourne
fellow of Worcester College Oxford and vicar of Steeple Barton in that county
He died July 28th 1807 in the 35th year of his age
The surviving four sons and five daughters
placed this tablet to the memory of their excellent parents
and of their beloved brothers

In memory of
William Bourne of Shrawley Court, Gentleman
who died June 13th 1831 aged 71 years
and of Mary his wife
who died Sept 13th 1847 aged 85 years
Also of their three children who died unmarried
Mary May 8th 1816 aged 25 years
Robert May 24th 1845 aged 14 years
and Jane August 2nd 1856 aged 65 years
She was a kind friend and a
Liberal Benefactress to the poor of this parish

South Wall of Nave
Miss Jane Bourne of Shrawley Court
by her will dated 14th of June 1856.
Bequeathed the sum of 500 to be
invested in Government Security the interest of which to be given on St Thomas’ day to the Aged and infirm poor, at the discretion of the Minister and Church Wardens.
The legacy represented £313. 14s. 6d. consols (in 1914). with the official trustees, the annual dividend amounted to £7. 16s. 8d. The distribution was made in coal and gifts of money.
